On Saturday we all crossed the boarder into Lesotho for the first time since arriving! We were invited to a 3 year olds birthday in a rural village about 90mins from the boarder post - half the drive was pretty bad dirt roads and the last section was 4x4 only!
This is Caledonspoort Border Post near Clarens
Their house was 100m from this river that marks the border between Lesotho and SA. (Lesotho on the right, SA on the left)
Birthday cake time! They bring their kids to the school in Clarens once a week, which is how we know them, (otherwise they're home-schooled).
